New partner joins law firm

The commercial property team at Birmingham law firm Clarke Willmott has been strengthened by the arrival of Ed Tennant who joins as partner. 

Ed, who has over 13 years’ experience providing legal advice to commercial property clients, has joined the firm from Forsters. 

With broad expertise across the commercial property sector, Ed advises on portfolio and single asset management including landlord and tenant issues, development funding, corporate support work and investment acquisitions and disposals. 

During his career he has represented institutional investors and funds, privately owned UK and overseas property investment and development companies and asset managers. 

He said: “Clarke Willmott’s commercial property team has a reputation not only for the market-leading legal expertise it provides but also for its deep understanding of complex property markets.
