A Solihull-based technology business is celebrating after being shortlisted for a 2022 National Business Award alongside some of the country’s fastest-growing firms.
Wise, founded in December 2019, has been listed in the ‘Best New Business’ category following tremendous growth which has seen the scale-up business go from twelve employees to over sixty in two and a half years.
The finalists for this year’s UK Business Awards were announced live online on Friday 29th April, with internationally-renowned businesses such as DHL, Tata Communications and CitySprint up for different awards at the ceremony on Thursday 7th July.

Based at Radcliffe House in the heart of Solihull, Wise has partnered with free regional skills bootcamp, School of Code, to create a true talent pathway for the next generation of diverse technology talent within the West Midlands. This partnership has seen eleven School of Code graduates join the business in a variety of roles covering design, software development and even project management.
