KWB property consultants has appointed Kezia Smart as associate director within its property management team.
Kezia has joined KWB from BNP Paribas Real Estate where she worked for just under a decade, beginning as a property administrator in 2016, before qualifying as a surveyor and being later promoted to an associate director.
Within the KWB team, Kezia will be responsible for overseeing property management of a number of mixed-use properties across the Midlands, including the Colman Consolidated Portfolio.
Kezia said: “I am very much looking forward to building relationships with both new and existing clients within the KWB portfolio. The industry knowledge within the KWB team is second-to-none and I’m excited to be part of such a well-regarded, independent consultancy that is truly passionate about Birmingham and the wider Midlands region.”
Kezia is also a well-known figure around Birmingham, having been involved with the Midlands Women in Property Committee for the past five years, including being the chairwoman between 2025 and 2026. Kezia also sits on the West Midlands RICS Regional Board and arranges networking events, alongside encouraging member engagement, with a particular focus to support female surveyors.
KWB’s head of Property Management Sam Lawrence - who also joined KWB from BNP Paribas Real Estate last year - said: “I’m delighted to once again have Kezia within the team. She’s hugely respected across the city and will be a real asset to KWB as we look to expand our property management portfolio over the coming years.”
In addition to Kezia joining the team, Alex Chambers has been appointed as head of Credit Control. Alex joins KWB from Savills, where he worked for two years.
KWB manages a significant portfolio of commercial properties across Birmingham, Solihull and the wider Midlands, and is actively growing its residential block management services.
