VWV has welcomed Marc White as a partner and notary public, joining the estates, tax and trusts team.
Marc brings with him specialist private client and notary services expertise and he joins with two colleagues - Natalia Ciobanu, notary assistant (Romanian and Russian speaker) and Lydia Perez, probate paralegal (Spanish speaker).
Marc has spent more than two decades advising individuals and families on personal and complex legal matters, from wills and probate to lasting powers of attorney and estate planning. He joins VWV having previously built and run his own practice in north Bristol and is also a CEDR-qualified commercial mediator and a member of STEP.
A fluent French and Spanish speaker, Marc's network of international contacts, built through both practising as a lawyer in Alicante, Spain from 2003 - 2010 and his notarial practice, will also strengthen and support the growth of the firm's international offering. His appointment means that clients can now access notary services directly through VWV, adding a valuable new capability to the firm's private client offering.
Michelle Rose, head of private client, said: "Marc and I have known one another for a very long time - in fact since we studied together at law school. We kept in touch and watched our careers take off in different directions and so it is a genuine pleasure, after all these years, to welcome him to VWV. The international focus Marc brings not just to the team, but the wider firm is an exciting development both for us and our clients."
Marc said: "Nobody will be surprised to hear that I am immensely proud to be joining such a highly regarded firm. I look forward to supporting VWV’s clients whilst also offering my existing contacts a far broader range of legal services from expert colleagues."
