National audit, tax, advisory and consulting firm Crowe has welcomed Adam Rollason to lead its Birmingham office, supporting the firm’s continued investment in its Midlands and South West footprint as part of its wider UK growth strategy.
Based in the firm’s new One Colmore Row office in Birmingham, Rollason will focus on strengthening Crowe’s wider advisory capabilities across the local market, as well as driving new growth opportunities.
Crowe opened its office at the prestigious Birmingham address last summer, marking a significant milestone in the firm’s commitment to the region’s thriving business community.
With more than 20 years’ experience in the accountancy profession, Adam also joins as a partner in the firm’s well-established national tax team, enhancing the firm’s corporate tax advisory capabilities.
He brings extensive transactional tax expertise, with a particular focus on advising owner-managed businesses and their shareholders. He supports a broad range of clients, including family businesses, entrepreneurs, individuals, management teams and EOT Trustees. His work spans mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganisations, management buyouts, employee ownership transitions and share scheme implementation.
He is also chair of the West Midlands branch of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and sits on its national Owner-Managed Business Technical Committee.
The news follows the appointment of Mitesh Patelia as Crowe UK’s new chief executive.
It also follows a series of partner hires earlier this year, including Midlands-based Mark Dyer, who joined the firm’s national VAT practice to expand its corporate presence and lead its indirect taxes offering in the Midlands and Southwest. Crowe welcomed Bhavin Bharakda in its Consulting practice earlier this year, plus two partner promotions – Ben Carter in its Professional Practices team and Charlie Copp in its Corporate Finance team.
Adam said: “I am delighted to be joining Crowe at such an exciting time for the firm and look forward to leading the Birmingham office as we continue our growth journey and further expand our offering to businesses across the region.
“Businesses are continuing to operate in a complex and evolving economic environment, but demand for high-quality transactional tax advice remains strong – particularly among growth-focused businesses looking to adapt and respond to changing conditions. I look forward to supporting them on their journey.”
Ross Prince, Midlands and South West office managing partner at Crowe, said: “Adam’s appointment is a key part of our ambition and continued investment in the region and the central Birmingham advisory market. He has built a strong reputation in the deals and structuring market and brings fresh perspective, energy and valuable connections within the Birmingham business community.
“From One Colmore Row, we are creating new opportunities for our clients, and Adam will play a central role in driving our growth plans forward.”
