Consultancy joins international group

Birmingham B Corp four-day week environmental consultancy Tyler Grange has become a founding member of Myllium - the newly-formed international network of experts, from pioneering organisations, who are leading the way in nature, climate, sustainable and societal progress.

Myllium brings together over 400 specialists, from seven businesses, to share innovation and experience in methodology, data and technology. It meets the increasing global demand for advanced ecological expertise - driven by evolving regulation, rising investor expectations and acknowledgement that biodiversity risk can directly impact businesses.

The formation of Myllium provides a powerful platform for experts in ecology, arboriculture, landscape planning, green infrastructure design and sustainability to collaborate, scale and create greater value together.

It delivers niche expertise and international reach across biodiversity, environmental law, permitting processes, strategic advisory services and technical innovation, for sustainable land and water management. With the capacity to lead complex international projects, Myllium is designed to support stable, long-term growth for people and the planet.

Tyler Grange is joined in the Myllium founding collective by Sussex-headquartered The Ecology Co-op, Netherlands-based Altenburg & Wymenga, and Ecogain, Calluna, EnviroPlanning and Örnborg Kyrkander, all of which currently operate in Sweden.

Katarina Walter, Group CEO of Myllium, and previously CEO of Ecogain, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Tyler Grange into the group. From our very early conversations, it was clear that we share a strong set of values and a common ambition to do business in a way that truly serves both people and planet. Tyler Grange brings deep expertise, a strong culture and a clear purpose, and I’m very much looking forward to us learning from each other and building something very meaningful together."

Tyler Grange’s managing director Jon Berry said: “We’re absolutely delighted to join Myllium, as a founding member. We’ve been in talks with the network for a while and, along with the other companies, we’ve helped to shape what are now our collective values, vision and direction, which are very closely aligned to those we’ve lived by, for over 15 years, at Tyler Grange."

Tyler Grange’s leadership team and brand will remain. All current owners of the business have re-invested and become shareholders in Myllium.

Tyler Grange employees over 120 people across its eight-strong UK office network. It has also recognised as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work for two consecutive years (2024 and 2025). It’s an accredited Living Wage employer, a member of the Better Business Network, and supports the Better Business Act.
