City centre move creates new jobs

Independent agency Davidson Estates is making its second city centre move in less than two years in a move that will create seven jobs across the business.

Growing demand for city centre living has led Davidson Estates to open a new office at 102 Colmore Row in the heart of the professional business quarter.

It was only in July 2020 that the company added a second Birmingham office at Unit 2 Liberty Place, Sheepcote Street, to its head office at 14a Frederick Road, Edgbaston.

Established by founder Ben Davidson in 2009, Davidson Estates made its name as an independent agent covering Edgbaston before spreading its wings across the city.

Now in a prime position in Colmore Row, the business is creating seven jobs, adding a new homes sales consultant and property assistant in the new office and five further jobs in the Edgbaston head office.

Ben said: “The move to return to the office, while embracing hybrid working, is driving keen interest in city centre properties where staff can walk to work and enjoy all the amenities the city centre has to offer.

“Our Colmore Row office gives us highly visible display space for our city centre sales and lettings, and we will be expanding our new homes and property management departments as the year progresses. Our new office in 102 Colmore Row is part of the Boutique Workplace Company, meaning we have access to communal work and meeting spaces, conference rooms and a gym with changing facilities.”
