Care home provider secures funding

A Birmingham care home provider has secured new funding to expand one of its homes in the City.

Astley Care Homes Ltd, which has six homes across the region, has completed an expansion of its Rosevilla nursing and care home in Stafford which will see the company increase capacity by a further nine bedrooms.

The business, which was established in 2015 and whose head office is in Selly Park, offers both nursing and residential care for people who have physical needs and for those living with dementia.

Director James Patel, of Astley Care Homes Ltd, said: “We always knew there was potential to expand our offering at our home in Stafford and this funding has enabled us to realise that potential. The rooms we have completed offer en-suite facilities and have been completed to a high standard.”

Funding was provided by Barclays and Kam Sangha, relationship director at Barclays in Wolverhampton, said: “James and his team have a wealth of experience in this sector and I am delighted we have been able to support them with the growth of their business.”
