Business advisory firm Sedulo Group has announced its expansion in Birmingham following growth success in the city, opening a new regional base at Bruntwood SciTech’s Cornwall Buildings.
The company's new base in the Grade II-listed city centre innovation hub will support the company’s burgeoning growth and enable their new hub to support up to 40 people. The move underscores Sedulo’s commitment to investing in Birmingham and its desire to be embedded in one of the UK’s fastest-growing and innovation-focused business communities.
The business first established a presence in Birmingham in March 2024, through the acquisition of R&D tax specialists BTA Services.
Sedulo is on track to double in size over the next three years, and a new Birmingham base represents a key step in its national growth strategy.
The move to Cornwall Buildings, owned and operated by the UK’s largest property platform dedicated to the growth of the tech, innovation, and science sectors, supports Sedulo’s commitment to developing and scaling its offer, including investing in increasingly sophisticated R&D processes.
The move will see Sedulo push forward plans for a leisure and events space within the building that will echo the spirit of the iconic Metro Bar – a former business social hub housed in the same building and considered one of Birmingham’s most iconic venues in the late 90s and early 00s.
Sedulo will use the space to host regular networking events, aimed at reconnecting Birmingham’s business professionals and sparking new pan-sector collaborations. The space will offer immersive experiences for business events and networking, with décor inspired by prominent Birmingham brands such as Typhoo, Lloyds Bank and Cadbury.

Sedulo’s office fit-out is expected to complete by summer 2025, with a two-day launch event set to celebrate the opening in June. The event will feature high-calibre entertainment and welcome guests from across the city’s business and professional community. Previous events hosted by Sedulo have included entertainers such as Gok Wan, Liberty X, Emeli Sandé and Damage.
