Awards call for young professionals

Young professionals are being encouraged to submit an application to win an award at the Future Faces Chamber of Commerce’s highly anticipated awards ceremony this summer.

Celebrating the region’s young professionals and their achievements, the Future Faces Annual Dinner & Awards 2022 will take place at the ICC in Birmingham on Friday August 26 from 7pm.

Following last year’s online ceremony, this year’s awards will see guests gather in person to recognise the plethora of young talent across the West Midlands and celebrate ten years since the Future Faces Chamber was established.

Young professionals are eligible to apply for a range of awards, including:

As well as committee-selected awards:

The overall winner of the awards will be crowned the Greater Birmingham Young Professional of the Year.

Jodie-Lee Perks, Future Faces manager, said: “After two years of virtual awards ceremonies, we are delighted that 2022’s annual dinner will be in person and bigger than ever.

"We are introducing two new categories, the Future Face of Health & Wellbeing and the President’s Award which will be chosen by Jaccy Datta. It’s been a hard two years, so it really is time to celebrate the successes of young professionals whose career paths have been affected by lockdowns.”

Jaccy Datta, president of Future Faces, said: “I’m really excited for this year’s Future Faces awards to be back in person at The ICC to recognise the fantastic achievements of young professionals from across the region.

"Without my own self-development through Future Faces, I certainly wouldn’t be confident enough to present the awards on that large stage, so I’m thrilled to have this opportunity to do so during my presidency.

“I encourage everyone eligible – no matter your area of work, your level of seniority or where you’re located across Greater Birmingham – to apply for the awards, and don’t forget you can also nominate those around you too.”
