Director of accounting firm Prime Accountants Kevin Johns has received the President’s Award at this year's Solihull Chamber Awards.
Hosted by the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, the awards celebrated the incredible work of local businesses, with 12 awards dedicated to spotlighting the talent found in the area.
Alongside these prizes, the President’s Award was granted to a person of excellent reputation who had dedicated their career to improving the prospects of the local economy by supporting business owners.
With over 30 years of experience in advising SMEs on their accounting needs, the Chamber said Kevin was a worthy recipient of the award.
Managing director at Prime Morgan Davies said: “Having worked with Kevin for decades, I am delighted but not surprised that he is getting this recognition. His commitment to excellence shines through in all of the work that he does. Our clients truly benefit from his expertise.”
Having served as a past President of Solihull Chamber of Commerce, Kevin is currently a member of the executive committee and Chairman of the Solihull BID.
Kevin said: “Every business knows that it is not just one leader that makes them successful but it’s the team that is built around them and you can only do that by allowing them to thrive.
“Without the support my family have given me over the last 33 years of building Prime to what it is today, I would not have achieved anything. Thank you to the team at Prime and to the Chamber – it’s not hardship when you love what you do and I have loved everything I have done, and continue to do, at Prime and being part of the Chamber.”
