Prime location apartment in auction

An apartment located in a prime location opposite the Metro tram terminus in Birmingham’s much sought-after Edgbaston Village is up for sale in Bond Wolfe’s next auction.

Apartment 1909 on the 19th floor of Metropolitan House at 1 Hagley Road will carry a guide price of just £9,000+ in the live-streamed auction on Thursday September 10.

Would-be purchasers are expected to make competitive bids for the two-bedroomed apartment due to the fact that it currently generates rent of £9,600 a year.

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe, said: “This is a very interesting property that is has so many things going for it. Not only is the Metro tram terminus opposite, but the apartment is also smack-bang in the middle of one of Birmingham’s busiest business districts, with the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce offices also just opposite.

“There are obviously direct tram links and bus routes into Birmingham city centre, and Five Ways train station is just around the corner on Islington Row Middleway."

The auction will start at 8.30am and will be live-streamed via Bond Wolfe’s website with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet.
