New planning manager appointed

Stoford has appointed a new planning manager as it looks to expand its commercial investment opportunities across the UK.

Stacey Green joins the business from planning and design consultancy Barton Willmore in Birmingham, where she was planning associate.

She has more than 14 years’ experience in the planning sector, having worked with local authorities including Stratford-on-Avon District Council and Bromsgrove District Council and planning consultancies.

In this newly-created role at Stoford, she will work with the expanding in-house land and planning team identifying new sites for the firm's development pipeline.

Stoford currently has more than £600 million worth of developments and more than 1.5 million sq ft currently on site across the UK.

Planning director Jo Russell said: “We are at an exciting time in our own growth and development, so strengthening the team with another planning expert will be key to our success in finding suitable sites. Stacey is highly-skilled with a wealth of experience in both commercial and planning fields and we’re looking forward to her playing a central role in the business.”

Stacey said: “Stoford is a market leading developer with a successful track record. With the logistics market booming, it seemed the ideal time to join.”
